Christie’s needed to modernise a globally distributed digital estate supporting high-value customer journeys, content operations and commercial activity across multiple regions and business units. The programme had to improve customer experience and performance while creating a more scalable platform for future product, content and personalisation needs.
The transformation combined customer-facing change with a significant platform migration.
The work required alignment across Product, Architecture, Engineering, Design, CX, Data, Commercial and operational stakeholders, while managing legacy constraints, global dependencies and release risk.
Ran discovery across 10+ global business units.
Translated customer, market, behavioural and commercial evidence into Product opportunities and prioritised roadmaps.
Used prototyping and early validation to reduce approval cycles and de-risk investment.
Shaped web and mobile journeys through the Sitecore transformation.
Defined KPI frameworks and dashboards using Adobe Analytics and Quantum Metric.
Used customer behaviour and friction data to validate priorities and measure post-launch performance.
Owned dependencies, RAID, QA, UAT, release readiness and Go/No-Go governance.
Stabilised global delivery, removed blockers and restored predictability.
Drove Braze personalisation discovery and rollout.
The programme moved the platform from Sitecore 7.3 to Sitecore 10.3 on Azure with a headless Next.js and React architecture, while coordinating customer-journey change, content operations, analytics and global release governance.
47% improvement in Lighthouse performance
22% uplift in conversion across key journeys
40% faster draft-to-publish
18% growth in organic sessions
Reduced approval cycles by 20% through earlier hypothesis review, prototyping and validation
The programme was not simply a CMS migration. It created a stronger operating foundation for customer experience, content, analytics, personalisation and future AI-enabled workflows, while giving global teams a clearer Product and delivery model.
